Formative Experience: The most memorable experience during this course was probably the elevator pitches and writing the long venture concept. I liked the elevator pitches because they were kind of fun and quick, but I liked the venture concept because I could see everything we did this semester come into one document. I liked reading the positive feedback I received on the venture concept and that did make me smile. I am proud I finished this course with only missing one assignment. Entrepreneur in Me: After this course, I do believe I found a hidden mindset in myself. A mindset to be a entrepreneur and being able to profit from my ideas. After this class I will be looking for problems in the world and I will think of ways to fix them. I am very glad I took this course. TnB Boat Services Opportunity:         There are several opportunities for unmet needs, some of which I have written in my phone, but today we will explore the possibilities of only one. This need exists in my hometown, Tampa, and is a well-known problem for most all boat owners. Being a customer first hand of this need, and all of my friends being similar customers to other business’, I am 99% sure this unmet need exist for all boat owners in Tampa. All boat owners in Tampa have this need and they are all potential custo...

Reading Reflection No. 3 The Long Tail: Why the Future of Business is Selling Less for More, Chris Anderson This reading was very interesting and beneficial. It shows the trend how little, non-popular products that do not the title advantage have been recently been selling more than popular products. This can be due to the huge fluctuations in profits and income that has led people to turn to cheaper products and the fact the do not care about the major brand names. This reading correlated a little to what we are learning in Entrepreneurship class. This had more to do with product consumption and why people are picking alternatives. Although this could have helped before I formed my idea, at this point of time left in class it doesn’t really matter. The trend that people are turning to niche brands could have affected the product or service I chose, and it actually is a very interesting topic in the modern industry. I would design an assignment or post...
