The Opportunity: Boat
owners in Tampa not having a place to take their boats too when they need
repairs or remodels.
The idea behind it
all: All car service places are professional chains and have known titles
associated with each. For boats however, this does not exist. I would start a
company in Tampa where boats could access from water or land. The company would
provide repair services and all other boat related mechanics. This place would
become so popular among all boat owners by word of mouth from previous
customers. As long as I kept my workers professionally trained, deadlines were
promised and kept, and repairs were made timely and perfectly, this company
could be extremely lucrative. Once it masters Tampa, it could move as a chain
to anywhere in the world.

ReplyDeleteI thought your problem would be very easy to fix as there are many boat owners in the Tampa area. I was very surprised that Tampa does not have a water-accessible boat repair shop. I live in Marco Island, where we are entirely surrounded by water. We do have a marina that is accessible from the water and can provide your boating needs with service, rental, and even storage for your boat. Overall, I think that this problem is a serious need for boat-owners in the Tampa area. I think you did a great job!

ReplyDeleteI think your idea of starting a boat repair company for boat owners is a great idea. If your company was successful you could even turn it into a chain and set open stores around all of Florida. I also like that you re aware of how your business would gain traction: through word of mouth. Being aware of that will make it easier for you to promote your business and help you figure out how you can keep people satisfied so they keep talking about you.
